Nothing about biomimicking of gekko setae in any of the postings so far
. . . but surely there is a technical problem. How do you stop the feet
getting dirty? If they can produce so much adhesive resistance using a
combination of high specific (compliant) surface area and van der Waals
forces, why don't they get dusty and fail to work??
