This is the last chance to book a place on the ARLIS visit to Insight, the Collections and Research Centre of the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television (NMPFT), Bradford, Tuesday 20 May at 2pm. Those already booked will receive further details shortly.
This will be the second ARLIS visit to the research facilities at the NMPFT. The first visit, which took place in September 2000, gave a rare and exciting 'insight' into the plans for the new facility, shortly before the collections were moved in. The centre is already in its second phase of development with the recent acquisition of 300,000 items from the Royal Photographic Society.
A 'behind the scenes' tour will be given by Paul Goodman, the Museum's Registrar, with a preview of the Royal Photographic Society acquisition.
