Dear All
I've just been looking for Resource's address and noticed it was in
SW1. This intrigued me as it i, I suspect, quite an expensive address. As
we all know, both DCMS and Resource are two of the most modestly funded
organizations in central government who wisely want to ensure all their
funds are properly directed to the cultural life of this great
nation. This then led me to recall the news story a few weeks ago that
noted that in a creativity index Manchester was in the lead.
So here's the suggestion. Move Resource out of London to the creative Eden
of England (or any other of the 'provincial' cities that have had such a
cultural renaissance over the last decade, such as Birmingham), save some
money to go on more worthy causes than office rent and move Justin Frost
closer to the Lake District.
I await comments with interest.

PS Justin, only a whimsical thought for a Friday but I do know a superb
restaurant on Ullswater......
