Please could colleagues bring this to the attention of anyone who may be

Archives Assistant, National Grid Transco plc.
The National Gas Archive at Warrington is the company archive of
National Grid Transco plc (formerly British Gas). We have
recently moved to a new building and started a new records management
service for the company. We are looking for an assistant to help with
the day to day running of the repository including the records
management service.
Responsibilities include general administrative duties, helping with
enquiry work and basic maintenance of the archive collections. There
would also be some work in the records centre, helping with the shelving
of boxes and data inputting. We are looking for somebody who is
self motivated with good ICT skills, physically fit and interested
in business archives.
This is an ideal post for somebody wishing to gain pre-course
experience in both archive and records management work.
Applicants who drive and have access to a car would be at an
advantage as public transport is restricted.
Hours would be 37 per week.
