The archaeology of your garden
Saturday 6 September
10.30am-4pm
A variety of plants and flowers have been introduced to Britain, and
London, over the centuries. Using archaeology and documentary evidence,
we can work out when new species were first grown in London. Come and
discover the history behind your garden. We will also have on display some
of the object which people often find when digging in their gardens
—perhaps some will be familiar to you!
