I am pleased to announce that the new edition of the JISC Resource Guide
for Physical Sciences is now available FREE of charge from the Resource
Guide for Physical Sciences website
(http://www.jisc.ac.uk/resourceguides/physci).

This 8-page booklet guides you to the key electronic resources available in
the physical sciences (astronomy, materials science, earth sciences,
chemistry and physics) for publications online, bibliographic and teaching
and learning resources amongst many others.  As well as a concise
description of what the resource can do for you, there are also details of
access conditions and subject coverage.
The bright full colour guides are FREELY available in the UK to anyone
engaged in higher education or research and can be ordered in quantities of
up to 200 for distribution to undergraduate classes or for display in
departments and libraries.

The guides also give details of the FREE awareness raising workshops that
can be tailored to your department or research groups specific needs.
Workshops can brief staff and students on new resources or highlight the
uses of under-used resources to their research.  Please contact me to
