unit in Wales

Embedded in the University of Wales College of Medicine (UWCM), Cardiff
University (CU) and Aberystwyth University (AU), the aim of the Unit is to
maintain and improve the quality of basic, strategic and applied research
and to promote a resilient research base. Spanning across basic to applied
research, the Unit will bring together a core of research staff, providing
strength and flexibility, together with skill consolidation through
tailored training.
