Hi,
Such type of models can be fitted using finite mixtures. There is free
software available based on work by Dankmar Bohning in Berlin (Germany). De
package is called C.A.MAN which can be obtained from
http://ftp.ukbf.fu-berlin.de/sozmed/caman.html

Subject: Query: Zero-inflated poisson distributions
Dear All-Stat Users,
I'm working on a project where zero-inflated Poisson has to be used.
Does anyone know how can I apply this kind of distribution and most
important point which kind of software can I use?
So I'm more interested on the software part because I have some articles
about this kind of distribution.
Any type of information about the zero-inflated Poisson will be kindly
accepted.
Kind regards. Thank so much.
