I have two hypotheses to test;
the first one is to test the relationship between X1 and X2. I have
done
this using multiple regression because X1 consists of many items.
The second hypotheses, I want to know the relationship between X2 and
X3 in
one side as the independent variables and X5 (the dependent variable).
But
X4 must be included as a moderator.
In this case, I know I must create interaction term(s), but what I do
not
know, should I create such term between X4 and X3, then in another
calculation between X4 and X3. or I can only create an interaction term
between the moderator (X4) and only one independent variable?
Finally, what is the right sequence to enter them in the regression
analysis
using SPSS?
I know that in general the independent should be entered first, then
the
interaction term....yes? is this right? If not, what should I do?
Please
help...your advice is highly appreciated.
