we now have vacancies for statisticians at a range of experiences based
at our offices in Hitchin.
ASSOCIATE PRINCIPAL/SENIOR STATISTICIAN (Full/ part time)
This is a senior position involving close liaison with our customers and
in-house team of data managers, statisticians and programmers. Working
as a team leader or project leader you will be responsible for managing
and performing the production of analysis plans, analysis of clinical
trial data and the production of statistical tables, figures and reports
for our customers.
In addition you will be responsible for providing advice to our
customers on study design and statistical regulatory issues covering a
varied range of studies in different therapeutic areas.
The successful candidate will hold a BSc or MSc in statistics or an
equivalent qualification, with 4 or more years statistical experience,
gained within the Pharmaceutical Industry or in a Contract Research
Organisation. Alternatively you may be a more experienced statistician
currently working in a different statistical environment who wishes to
move into the Pharmaceutical Industry. Additionally, you will be
proficient in SAS(r) or can demonstrate good programming skills in
another
software package. (Training in SAS(r) can be provided).
STATISTICIAN (Full/ part time)
Working as a statistician within Statwood you will be supported in
providing a full and varied consultancy service to our wide customer
base on all aspects of statistics. In addition, as part of our
statistics team you will be responsible for writing analysis plans,
analysing clinical trial data and producing statistical tables, figures
and reports for our customers.
The successful candidates will hold a MSc in statistics or an equivalent
qualification, with statistical experience, gained within the
pharmaceutical industry. Knowledge of SAS(r) would be useful but not
essential, since training will be given.
Ideal candidates will be ambitious, enthusiastic, have excellent
communication skills, can work to deadlines, as well as being organised
