Research Fellow in Medical Statistics / Epidemiology (Ref: BR1)
We are seeking an enthusiastic medical statistician/epidemiologist to join the Medical Statistics and Health Services Research Unit, to work on a project which seeks to identify risk factors for surgical wound infections. This post provides an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to be involved in a high profile research study of great importance to the National Health Service. The post is initially for one year.
The post will involve a systematic literature review, synthesising information from several large and complex databases and statistical analysis, including multi-level modelling.
Applicants must have a MSc (or equivalent) in statistics. Additionally, they should be proficient with STATA, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
