Research Statistician – European Action on
Anticoagulation (EAA)

Required to work in the EAA Central Facility in an international
research team concerned with improved regulation of clinical
dosage of oral anticoagulant treatment and improvements in
methodology of its laboratory control. The post is for one year
in the first instance, with possible annual renewal. The work will
entail the application of medical statistics to the clinical endpoint
study under the auspices of the Quality of Life Programme of the
European Community. A degree (minimum 2.1) in mathematics
or statistics is required. After an initial period, consideration will
be given to the registration of a suitable candidate for a PhD
course in the School.
Starting salary will be £18,265 per annum.
