STATISTICAL GENETICIST

We are seeking to fill a new post in statistical genetics,
based in the Cancer Research U.K. Genetic Epidemiology Unit
in Cambridge. The new position is funded as part of a new
grant studying the genetics of prostate cancer.
The successful applicant will be involved in the design and
analysis of large-scale family- and population-based studies.
There will be substantial opportunities for development of
new statistical methodology in this important area.
Applicants should have an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in statistics or
equivalent qualifications. Experience of genetic analyses,
including analysis of genetic linkage and/or association
studies, would be a strong advantage.
