Statistician
We would like to invite applications for a junior statistician post. This
is a joint post between the Department of Biostatistics and Computing at
the Institute of Psychiatry and the Royal College of Psychiatrists’
Research Unit. The post holder will have particular responsibility for
giving statistical advice to postgraduate students at the Institute of
Psychiatry and will assist researchers in the analysis of complex data
sets at the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Research Unit.
The successful candidate will have a strong statistical education and
experience of statistical software packages such as SPSS, STATA or S-PLUS
is essential. Applications from newly qualified MSc’s in medical
statistics would be welcomed.
Starting salary in the range £20,399 pa to £29,473 pa (inclusive of £2,134
pa London Allowance), depending on qualifications and experience.
