HEAD OF MEDICAL STATISTICS (M18382)
A senior medical statistician is required with proven abilities in planning
and implementing research related to medical statistics. The post holder
will assume lead responsibility for departmental statistical issues;
initiate and lead on postgraduate training in statistics and contribute to
undergraduate teaching. Candidates must have a PhD/equivalent postgraduate
experience in statistics, methodological expertise, excellent presentational
and inter-personal skills, proven managerial abilities and wish to
contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. Post available for
three years in the first instance.
Salary £35,251 - £39,958
STATISTICIAN (M12770)
A medical statistician is required to contribute to the design and analysis
activities of the clinical research activities of the Department. You will
assist in the development of new research ideas and statistical methodology,
provide advice on research methodology and basic statistics to
non-statistical colleagues and have an opportunity to participate in
undergraduate teaching. You should have a PhD/equivalent postgraduate
experience in statistics and excellent written and oral communication
skills. Post available until 30.06.06.
Salary £25,451 - £33,679
