About the event: data mining is used increasingly in business and industry to create valuable information by identifying and analysing patterns that are hidden in databases. Data mining is a versatile technology that can be used in a wide range of predictive modelling and cluster analysis applications in many different areas including marketing, aeronautics and forensic science. Its applications in business include direct marketing, customer segmentation, revenue risk assessment and sales development.
This seminar: provides an essential guide to data mining techniques and an introduction to some of the exciting possibilities that they offer. The seminar is followed by the opportunity to network over a buffet supper. Presentations include:
