Isn't that a general development? I don't remember the main menu option in SAS vs. 6.12, but clearly the SAS developers, or at least the business people do not think in (mathematical) problems, but only in "Solutions" as SAS' main menu displays. So the solution already is there, you only have to grab the right one.

It's a perfectly logical development, really ... after all, SPSS lost
'Statistics' from its main menu a few versions back, and replaced it with
'Analyze'. Mustn't frighten the children and horses (as the saying goes).
