Hi all,
Will someone please point me to a reference on double or multiple weighting methods in calculating Directly Age Standardised Rates or prevalence rates?
As I understand it, the 5 year age group counts in the standard population usually act as the weights, but I want to also weight for the chance that a particular person in the sampled household would be selected (say 1/4 if four eligible people were in the household). I might have to weight for other factors too, so pointers to a general approach would be good.
Thanks
Andrew
