PhD Opportunity in Statistical Modelling
and Inference for Road Transport Systems
The University of Western Australia in Perth, Australia,
is offering up to four PhD scholarships in transport
and logistics, commencing in 2004. One of these
scholarships may support a PhD in statistical
modelling and inference for road transport systems.
UK applicants should have, or expect to obtain, a first
or upper second class honours degree, or a Master's
degree, in statistics or a cognate discipline.

Scholarships for Doctoral Research in Transport Planning and Logistics
Scholarship Description:
The Planning and Transport Research Centre (PaTReC) in Perth
Western Australia is offering scholarships enabling suitably
qualified Australian and overseas students to undertake doctoral
research in transport. To be undertaken at the University of
Western Australia.
Study Subject:
Transport, including transport economics and policy studies,
advanced transport modelling, planning, travel behaviour change,
logistics, safety, security and sustainability.

Availability:
For tenure at the University of Western Australia commencing in

used for living costs. This scholarship is paid fortnightly.
