DEPARTMENT OF INFECTIOUS AND TROPICAL DISEASES CHAIR OR SENIOR
APPOINTMENT IN MEDICAL STATISTICS AND EPIDEMIOLOGY The Infectious
Disease Epidemiology Unit in the Department of Infectious and Tropical
Diseases is a leading international group working on the epidemiology of
infectious disease, with a particular focus on health problems in the
developing countries. We wish to strengthen further our research by an
appointment, up to professorial level, in medical statistics and
epidemiology with a focus on the disease problems of developing
countries. Candidates should have a strong record of research in
medical statistics as applied to epidemiology and have successfully
competed for grant support. Experience of working on tropical disease
problems is desirable. Starting salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience, depending on the level at which the
