MRC Predoctoral Fellowship
MRC Biostatistics Unit
Cambridge
The MRC Predoctoral Fellowship scheme was created to enhance opportunities for
entry into research for the brightest graduates. Under this scheme a Predoctoral
Fellow will be a member of staff at the MRC Biostatistics Unit and will receive
a salary. As such it is open to all nationalities. The successful Fellow will
also be registered for postgraduate study at Cambridge University. The scheme is
offered for 3 or 4 years and it is envisaged that candidates without a masters
degree will spend the first year as a masters student. The final 3 years will be
spent working towards a PhD.
Students who have or are about to get a first class or high 2:1 honours degree
in Mathematics or Statistics can apply for the scheme by sending a CV, names and
