My client is a leading global pharmaceutical company with a large site in the South East of England.
There is a now a requirement for a Statistical Programmer to work on contract starting as soon as possible:
Job Description: Statistical Programmer
Position: PRO - 03-105
Responsibilities:
1.Responsible for the input into specifications for analysis (including derived datasets, listings, tables, graphs) of clinical trials across Phase II-IV
2.Subsequent timely delivery of high quality tables, listings and graphs of clinical trials from analysis plan, including ad-hoc exploratory analyses
3.Represent line function within clinical teams
Reports to
Group Head Statistical Reporting
Key Job Skills
1.Demonstrated ability to lead programming aspects of a clinical trial
2.Excellent knowledge of SAS, including SAS BASE, Macro, Report whilst some familiarity with SAS Graph, ODS, SQL would be an advantage
3.Experience of involvement in project level programming activities (pooling of data for ISS, ISE), electronic submission
4.Knowledge of clinical trials, statistics
5.Knowledge of ICH GCP issues as they affect reporting
6.Fluent in English
7.University degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related scientific field
5 years+ in roles as Statistical Programmer (pharmaceutical company or CRO)
8. Computer literate
Desirable Skills
1.Experience in respiratory therapeutic area
2.Statistical training (MSc in Statistics)
