DOCTORAL TRAINING ACCOUNTS
The Department of Statistics has several doctoral training accounts
available for 2003/2004 for home and EU students wishing to do research for
a doctorate. UK residents can be fully funded for fees and maintenance. EU
citizens can be funded for fees only.
We are looking for doctoral research students in probability and
statistics, particularly in the following areas: statistical methods in
social sciences, theoretical and applied Bayesian statistics in
econometrics and the theory and practice of financial derivatives.
Applicants should have a first degree in Maths/Stats, Maths or related
courses, or a MSc.
