Hello Helen
I always release a draft examination timetable and give departments a week
to check and submit amendments. It is better to remove the examination
location column- in that way if students get sight of the draft, they will
not take for granted that it is written in tablets of stone and will still
need to see the difinitive to find the location.
regards
Jean

Subject: Examination timetable
Dear All,
I would appreciate some feedback on whether other institutions publish a
provisional or draft examination timetable, before releasing the final
version. And what problems are encountered, if any?
I currently work at an institution that has one main undergraduate series
at the end of the year, a reassessment series in August and a Postgraduate
only series at Easter.
Many thanks
Helen Roberts
