Dear All,
Sorry to bother you, but I'm working on exam conventions for masters/taught
postgraduate students and I'm a bit stuck on the question of whether PGT
students should be allowed 2nd or 3rd attempts at exams. (Our UGs are
allowed 3 attempts, but our PGT regs are all over the place.)
I would therefore be grateful if you could let me know:
- Whether your institution permits 2nd and 3rd attempts at examinations
and assessment for taught postgraduate students.
- If yes - how many attempts and when.
- Any other pearls of wisdom that may help me resolve this issue!
If you could reply directly to me, I'll send a summary of replies to the
list later.
Thanks

Subject: DfES workshops
Hi All,
The DfES are about to send out delegate packs to those who are
booked on the workshops in London on the 22nd and Sheffield on
the 27th and 28th. The packs will include a map and directions, a
programme for the day, a draft access to learning fund guidance,
case studies and a delegate list. Can I ask that you please hold
back from calling to confirm places until next week. If you have any
OTHER queries about the workshops please call the DfES.
London delegates: if you have not recieved your pack by Tuesday
morning please call Shawana Williams or Louis Ripley at the DfES
(020 7925 5572/5843) to double check that you have a place.
Regards
