& IT IN ART & DESIGN

ADC-LTSN has awarded Cardiff School of Art and Design funding to carry out a
survey of current strategies and needs of staff development in the use of
C&IT in Art and Design. The research will build on existing work in this
field such as the Net Culture Project.
The project is also supported by the Learning and Teaching Support Unit at
UWIC.
The person appointed will work on a part-time basis alongside the School's
Director of Learning and Teaching on this important project, which forms a
central part of the School's Research Strategy and ADC-LTSN's remit. They
will undertake a structured programme of research which involves compiling a
literature review, questionnaire survey, interviews and analysis. The
research will be written up in a form capable of being disseminated through
ADC-LTSN and others - with a view to identifying good practice and
recommendations for future developments in the sector.
