PGCE / CERT ED COURSE CO-ORDINATOR (Vac Ref: 1406)
Hours: Maximum of 1 FTE (subject to negotiation)
Salary: £14,372 - £26,051 per annum
The College is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic educator to
work as Course Leader/Co-ordinator for PGCE/Cert Ed programmes in post
compulsory education, currently within the area of Art & Design.
The course is designed to provide trainee teachers with a critical knowledge
of education, administrative proficiency and professionalism. This is an
expanding area within the College and the postholder will be required to
undertake new initiatives within teacher training.
Candidates will be qualified to degree level, preferably within the area of
Art & Design, with a post-graduate qualification in an appropriate
discipline. Experience of teaching at degree and PGCE level is essential,
as is an understanding of both Further and Higher Education.
CO-ORDINATOR OF CULTURAL & SUPPORTING STUDIES (Vac Ref: 1407)
Hours: Maximum of 1FTE (subject to negotiation)
Salary: £14,372 - £26,051
The Division is seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to
work as Co-ordinator for the Art, Design & Media history and theory elements
of a range of courses. The Division comprises a wide range of course
provision in art, design, media, theatre and music.
The candidate should have a degree in an appropriate discipline and
preferably a post-graduate qualification. Experience of teaching at FE/HE
levels is essential and candidates will preferably have a teaching
qualification.
The post will involve assisting the programme manager in the co-ordination
of the contextual studies elements of a range of courses across the
Division.
