The National Organization on Disability and IAEM have released a new tool
for emergency planning. The ³Guide on the Special Needs of People with
Disabilities² is a book designed to provide information on how to
incorporate the needs of people with disabilities into emergency response
plans. An electronic copy of the guide can be downloaded from the NOD web
