Within the new part m documentation there is information on interim
arrangements, in particular on the planning process and how for example,
applications will be viewed and managed.

Subject: New Part M
Following our discussions last month regarding the new Part M can anyone
please clarify exactly when the new requirements come into force i.e. in
relation to Building Control/start and completion on site dates etc? I
know that the ultimate date is 1st May 2004 and that now we have the new
guidance we should be working to it as 'best practice' but I seem to
remeber reading more detailed information amongst one of the many
articles
that I have seen on the subject!
Any help would be much appreciated.
Regards
Clare
