Many thanks, John.

Subject: Re: Urgent Advice on Lift Provision in Flats
The architects is 'technically' within the Part M dimensions if they are
fitting it now, but when Part m changes, the lift will effectively only have
a 10 year lifespan, which is the 10 year statute before you need to update
to the new part M.
Effectively by fitting this now, and knowing the impact of changing a lift
of this type the architects is taking a financial risk.
Who ultimately is making the decision?
These are crazily small lifts - especially if you have shopping or a
facilitator with you.
