Sorry if I sounded a bit tetchy - I had in mind whoever told Tracy there was
a problem
rather than herself.
In fact there is an unfixable problem with the 64-bit IDL version on Solaris
but the 32-bit version works (% idl -32). I have just confirmed that it
works with IDL V6.0 on Linux but we haven't got V6.0 available on Solaris.
