It's not included in RedHat 7.3, looking in all the RedHat 7.3 RPMs you only
see libg2c.a:
[root@jupiter RPMS]# rpm -qlp ./* | grep libg2c
warning: ./4Suite-0.11.1-8.i386.rpm: V3 DSA signature: NOKEY, key ID

/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-glibc21-linux/egcs-2.91.66/libg2c.a
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/egcs-2.91.66/libg2c.a
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/2.96/libg2c.a
It's not in /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/<version.number> on rlspc1 or
rlspc5.

Hi Steve,
well we did get into this habit for good reasons, so I'd say we should
have a better reason than chance to stop doing it.
The shareable library itself isn't new. It just lived elsewhere in
previous versions:
/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i386-redhat-linux/<version.number>
No idea why they moved it.
Cheers,
Peter.
