Tried it on RH 7.1 and managed to get as far as the SPLAT welcome panel.
Pressed "OK" and everything went silent - loads of processes running java
were created but none of them did anything - no sign of the SPLAT GUI.
I'll try it on RH 9 and windows this afternoon.
By the way, I note there is no mention of ">>> !!! STARLINK !!! <<<"
on the welcome panel. Might be an idea to get something in there to boost
our visibilitity in these hard times. I know starlink is a bit of a vague
concept these days, but it's still a name that many people are familiar
with and will recognise.
