*Apologies for Cross-Posting*
Hi colleagues,
COSMIC (The Confederation of Scottish Mini-Cooperatives) is a confederation
of independent organisations, services and projects working together to
foster and sustain co-operation between Libraries, Archives, Museums,
Electronic Learning Services and others actively engaged in building and
developing 'Virtual Scotland'.
To ensure COSMIC sustains and develops better cooperative activity in
Scotland, COSMIC is inviting those organisations not yet represented on the
COSMIC Task Group to put that organisation / cooperative forward for COSMIC
membership. Current COSMIC members are:
Ayrshire Libraries Forum (ALF),
Centre for Digital Library Research (CDLR) - University of Strathclyde,
Glasgow Colleges Group (GCG),
Glasgow University Archives,
Grampian Information,
National Library of Scotland (NLS),
Scottish Confederation of University and Research Libraries (SCURL),
Scottish Library and Information Council (SLIC),
South East Scotland Library & Information Network (SESLIN),
Tayside and Fife Library and Information Network (TAFLIN),
UHI Millennium Institute (UHI)
If your organisation, working group or cooperative is not represented,
COSMIC would be interested in liaising with your group to arrange
membership. Please contact George Macgregor ([log in to unmask])
to begin this process.
