****Apologies for cross-posting****
Hi everyone,
Thanks to all those that responded to the recent request by SPEIR for
project details - this is much appreciated.
The SPEIR Project, which aims to bring the concept of a Scottish Cooperative
Infrastructure (SCI) to fruition, is beginning to create a 'Project
Database' for Scotland in order to facilitate greater opportunities for
coordinated research, service development and deployment. Such a database
would make available details of projects in the libraries, archives and
museums sectors in Scotland.
If you are involved in a project and have yet to forward details of this
project to SPEIR, please do so as soon as possible by providing the
following information:
PROJECT NAME:
BRIEF DESCRIPTION (One or two sentences is sufficient):
URL (if available. If not please supply contact details):
If you have the information to hand, it would also be useful to know:
HOST / LEAD INSTITUTION:
PROJECT MANAGER:
PROJECT CONTACT:
CONTACT EMAIL ADDRESS:
FUNDING SOURCE:
Since projects in the libraries, archives and museums sectors are littered
with acronyms, please ensure that the acronym is spelled out in the 'Project
Name' field (i.e. SPEIR (Scottish Portals for Education, Information and
Research)).
Project details should be sent to [log in to unmask] More
information about SPEIR can be gleaned at http://speir.cdlr.strath.ac.uk .
Thanks for your time,
