May I suggest that you visit the Peak District Mining Museum to gain an
insight into the lead mining industry of Derbyshire.
Thereafter you will find that there is a collection of books, articles,
journals, etc. at the Local History Library at Matlock. This is situated
to the rear of the County Offices on Matlock Bank.
