I am afraid not at present. He worked there before the 1st World War
and for a few months after but couldn't stay as he had been gassed and
couldn't take the poor ventilation underground. Glad to hear there are
a few buildings left - I will have to pop up sometime and look.
Do you know when the colliery closed?
