The egg-end of such a boiler exists at Shepherd's House Farm near Brotton at NZ 685207. Apparently it came from the nearby Skinningrove Ironworks, not local mines. It has now seen many years use, sitting on its end, as a water trough for the animals on the farm and is fitted with water supply and ball valve.
Some of these boilers, particularly those used in ironworks, were of great length and so these are likely to be the even rarer ones.
