Dear All
Following is latest on Dorothea Beam Engine from a local contact -
Re e-address to planning officer, the Conservation officer is
[log in to unmask], so I suppose that [log in to unmask]
would work for his boss. I don't know what the address for the Plaid Cymru
Office in Caernarfon might be.
Regarding the planning dispute, this was for (1) appeal against an
enforcement order against a car park made at Dorothea house (outside the
quarry) (2) appeal against non-determination of the planning application for
removing the rest of the Petris Tip (a remote tip from the quarry) (3)
appeal for more time to make an entrance into Dorothea from the south using
the planning consent in hand for the diving centre- which the council said
was void, but which the inspector said might have some value due to work
commenced, although he ruled against the new access.
The Owner is still active. I am giving evidence against a Deemed Development
order on Galltyfedw mill tip (just to the North of Dorothea and overlooking
it), and I expect an attempt to sidestep planning at Penybryn on a similar
pretext. He has had surveyors round, though somebody (not me) scared them
off by saying they'd never get paid.
Regards
Andrew
