I have read, Brook and Allbutt 'The Shropshire Lead Mines' that there was an
aerial ropeway from Potters Pit to Pennerley dressing floor between 1882 and
1884, I have also read in 'Industrial Archaeology Review XXI 2' that by 1886
there were only three, all blondins and all in Scotland. Can anybody shed
any light please.
