2 LLPG Data Cleansing Officers

As part of its e-government strategy, London Borough of Hackney is
developing its Local Land and Property Gazetteer (LLPG). We are seeking to
recruit three members of staff to help us to create a database which will
soon provide an authoritative address reference for all other Council
property databases and Customer Relationship Management Systems. It also
feeds into the National Land and Property Gazetteer. Candidates are
required to have in depth knowledge of BS7666 schema.
In particular we seek 2 LLPG Cleansing officers to undertake basic data
cleansing and assist with anomaly resolution tasks related to land and
property locations. You will have previous GIS data capture/validation
(spatial & textual) experience within a local authority and rigorous
attention to detail. Ref: CEPC10/JISC.
