A brilliant opportunity has emerged for two GIS trainees seeking hands on
practical experience in GIS data capture & system implementation within a
prime local government authority in London. The project involves the full
cycle of implementing a Land Terrier GIS that integrates all relevant data
and applications into a fully functional system. The two trainees will work
alongside a GIS technician under the supervision of a Project Manager.
Allowances will only cover travel and lunch expenses. The project which has
been postponed to commence on the 8th of December 2003 will run for three
months and training will be provided on the relevant spatial mapping
applications and databases including ArcView, MapInfo, Access or SQL Server
& R2V.
