VARIABLE-TIME RESEARCH ASSISTANT: Space and Exclusion

(3 months full-time from 1/9/03) and for additional tasks for the
following 20 months on a 0.2 (1 day a week) basis ; totalling 7 months
full-time, pro rata. Starting salary is up to point 6 of the Research pay
scale (£20,311 + £2134 London Allowance pa, pro rata) dependant on
age and experience.
This is an exciting opportunity for variable-time work on an innovative
EPSRC funded (GR/S26163/01) project starting in September 2003,
using the Booth poverty maps of 19th century London as a source for
investigating the relationship between physical segregation and
economic marginalisation in the urban environment. The work will be
based at the Bartlett School of Graduate Studies, Faculty of the Built
Environment, UCL (see
