Since Wood is not a member of the list, I am posting
this for him.
To add a little bit: my impression is that there is
no evidence that Absoft does not intend to "keep up",
although I have no special information about that.

Absoft has a commercial release of Fortran95 for Opteron - available now.
Compiler runs native on Opteron and can generate 64 or 32 bit executables.
Compiler is full ANSI 95 and supports all popular F77 legacy extensions.
Can be run in F77 or F90/95 mode. Takes full advantage of AMD64's large
address space.
Compatible with AMD64 releases from Red Hat and SuSE,
meets LSB (Linux Standard Base) specifications. Also compatible with
VAST auto parallel tools
and TotalView and DDT distributed debuggers.
Fully source compatible with other Absoft compilers.
