Hello there,
This is a compiler question and may easily be due to peculiarities of
certain compilers but as I am not fully understanding compiler
implementations I would enjoy some conjecture from those that do.
A Fatal error: compiler error (c0000005) was occurring in upon compilation.
The module that caused this error was identified and was of the form
module maxim_liklihood
use mod1
use mod2
use mod3
use mod4
use mod5
use nag_mod, only : fit=> sub1, sub2, sub3
...
...
...
end module
mod1 to mod5 are user defined modules, using only user written code.
nag_mod is a NAG library and subs1 to sub3 are minimisation routines.
The module compiled when the "use nag_mod" line was moved to the top of the
list of use statements.
Is this a compiler fault or is there a coding reason for this??
Any conjecture would be welcomed.
C.Millar.
