Dear List Members,
I am trying to trace a Ken Russell documentary concerning Old Battersea
House, home to Mrs Stirling who collected works of art including many De
Morgan pieces. Descriptions of the film include "a Pre-Raphaelite
´shrine´ presided over by the ninety-nine-year-old sister of Evelyn de
Morgan". It was a short film, I suspect about 15 minutes long, as part
of the BBC Monitor Arts programme, specifically about the house and Mrs
Stirling. Probably filmed in the early 60's.
The BBC has no reference to this film and it was rather a long time ago!
However any knowledge of the whereabouts of any copies would be
gratefully received
Many thanks
