The University has embarked on a range of Admissions, Curricula and Student Systems projects to support core administrative functions. This new post has been created to help deliver these significant developments and to support the systems once implemented.
You will be responsible for managing the section's varied and demanding business and the 5 members of the Business Support Team. You will be responsible for ensuring successful implementation of new systems and business process change, through business analysis, requirement specification, software testing and implementation. You will also be required to prepare, reconcile and submit the major student-related returns to the Higher Education Statistics Agency.
You must have an Honours Degree or equivalent and at least five years management experience in an administrative computing environment with two of these within Higher Education. You must also have a proven record of initiating and managing change in business processes to support IT solutions, and experience of producing documentation and delivering training services.
Salary scale: £28,498 - £33,679 p.a
