I have been asked by the DfES to forward the attached message from the
SLC, thanking us for the much-improved data (in respect of both timing
and completeness) on courses and term dates

Dear Colleagues
The HEI Database update for AY 03/04 is 97% complete.
We would like to thank you and your colleagues for your continuing hard
work in completing and returning the data to us.
The HEI Database is core to the administration of the Student Support
schemes and this early (virtual) completion will make the administration
of
the scheme so much easier for our partners in the award authorities and
the
staff here at the Student Loans Company to see applicants successfully
through to payment.
We hope that the remaining 3% will be with us shortly and will continue
to
ask for returns in order to minimise use of temporary course codes which
are applied just prior to start of academic year (to allow applicants to
proceed whilst course data is pursued).
We are very appreciative of your ongoing assistance.
