Dear Diana,
I remember having seen this error message in our lab quite a while ago. I
am not sure any more, but the solution might be to transpose your contrast
vector. Matlab (and SPM) is sometimes very picky about whether you specify
a row (i.e. [1 2 3 4 5]) or column (i.e. [1; 2; 3; 4; 5] or [1 2 3 4 5]')
vector.
