The Institute of Cancer Research is looking for a part-time
scientific writer (21 hours p/w) and further details can be

"Applications are invited for the post of a scientific writer.
The postholder will assist Dr Sibylle Mittnacht in the writing
of scientific documents including the generation and editing of
applications for external funding, the generation and editing
of manuscripts and review articles, and the provision of writing
support and training for research students and laboratory
members. The appointee will not be involved in research work
at the bench. The current research programme focuses the
retinoblastoma tumour suppressor pathway and its role in the
control of cancer cell proliferation"
The starting salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis
within the range £23,735 to £27,794 p.a. inclusive and will be
based on qualifications and experience.
